Simmba song 'Aala Re Aala' sees Ranveer Singh groove to Tanishk Bagchi's peppy track

Simmba ’s new song ‘Aala Re Aala’ is by far the film’s grandest song. With elaborate sets and background dancers going up to hundreds, ‘Aala Re Aala’ is an all-out mass entertainer. It features Simmba’s protagonist Sangram Bhalerao (aka Ranveer Singh) as he breaks into synchronised pelvic thrusts to showcase his flamboyance. (Dabbang hangover, anyone?) Aala Re Aala begins with Bhalerao’s unabashed charm as he rides into the scene atop an SUV, loyally abiding by the Rohit Shetty cinematic universe. As he is escorted by a plethora of women on motorbikes, the atmosphere erupts into Marathi beats and rhythms, almost akin to a Ganpati visarjan setup. Sporting a bright red shirt, beige pants and a mousthache, Ranveer looks every bit the police officer (albeit in casual clothes). Simmba also features Sara Ali Khan opposite Ranveer Singh. The Rohit Shetty directorial will be Sara’s second outing after her debut Kedarnath . Simmba is the official remake of Temper, which featured Jr NTR. Touted to be an all-out Rohit Shetty mass entertainer, the film also features Sonu Sood and Ashutosh Rana, and Ajay Devgn in a cameo. Watch the song here.
