 "Sidhu Moosewala's parents welcome baby boy, netizens say 'Sidhu is back'")
The parents of the late Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala, were earlier confirmed to be expecting a new addition to their family. Days after refuting the claims, Moosewala’s mother Charan Kaur and father, Balkaur Singh have welcomed a baby boy to the family. The late singer’s father confirmed the news through his social media handle as she shared a picture with the newborn baby.
In the photo, Balbir who is 60, can be seen holding the newly born in his arms. He is sitting in front of a framed photo of his late elder son, Moosewala . The late singer’s father accompanied the photo with a caption in Punjabi that can be loosely translated to, “With the blessings of millions of souls who love Shubdeep, the Almighty has put Shubh’s younger brother in our bag. With the blessings of Waheguru, the family is healthy and thankful to all the well-wishers for their immense love.”
Balkaur Singh and the late singer’s mother Charan, in another video, wereoverjoyed to welcome the baby. The clip featured the doctors wheeling out the late singer’s mother in a stretcher from the operating theater after the delivery. Moving further, the newborn is handed to the mother following which she turns visibly emotional. It has also been confirmed that the baby was born through IVF at a hospital in Bhatinda.
The news of the arrival of the newborn comes two years after Sidhu Moosewala was tragically murdered on May 29, 2022. The renowned artist was shot dead by assailants in his car in Jawaharke village of Mansa district. Despite being taken to the hospital immediately, the singer succumbed to his injuries.
Ever since his murder, his parents have been seeking justice for their son. Moosewala, through his songs, earned widespread popularity not only in India but abroad as well. The responsibility for his murder was allegedly taken by Lawrence Bishnoi Gang. Moosewala’s songs which raked in millions of views include 295, So High, The Last Ride, and It’s All About You among others.
