Harry and Meghan never seem to go out of news. Though it is usually more talks about Meghan Markle, but surprisingly this time it is the Duke of Sussex who is in new for some ‘smooches’ and ‘movie snuggles’.

According to Newsweek report, “Prince Harry mentioned sharing ‘movie snuggles’ with a tabloid journalist, called her ‘sugar’ and signed off one message ‘mwah xxx’ in a series of Facebook messages sent before he met Meghan Markle.”

The series of Facebook exchanges between the Duke of Sussex and Mail on Sunday reporter Charlotte Griffiths emerged on Tuesday as his High Court case against Associated Newspapers Limited, publisher of the Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday drew to a close.

Former Mail on Sunday deputy diary editor and now editor at large Charlotte Griffiths, who has recovered Facebook messages shared between the pair that appear to show they were close. Harry maintains he did not know she was a journalist, which she disputes. Griffiths referred to him as ‘Mr Mischief’ and wrote in one message: “What a fun weekend of naughtiness–can’t we all get up to no good in the countryside every weekend damn it?? Smooches, CG String. Xxx.” Calling her “sugar” and signing off with a flirty “mwah” and strings of kisses, the messages suggest Harry had a real intimate relationship with Griffiths than he ever admitted.

Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the British press

In the past Harry had spoken badly about the British press and also called them the PR arm of the monarchy who meddled with his private life. Firstpost had earlier written on this.

What we understood from the Harry & Meghan docu-series on Netflix is that British correspondents are not journalists, but they are more of publicists. We all know how the tabloid culture runs on sensationalism and taking sides and how stories are planted. Looks like yellow journalism is encouraged rampantly in Britain turning the tabloids into nothing, but a piece of yellow rag. One of the key elements running through the  Harry & Meghan  show was the criticism of the British press which Harry clearly says that the way there are cinema, culture, political, sports correspondents, there are royal correspondents in Britain who are more like the PR arm of the royal family.
