I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you.”

Samay Raina has over 5.9 million followers on Instagram and 7.33 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. His earnings come from YouTube ad revenue, subscribers, brand deals, and comedy shows among other sources.

Termed as ‘an unnecessary reality show’, the first episode of India’s Got Latent premiered on 14 June 2024 on YouTube.

According to one of its opening lines, “It’s a pointless reality but it has a very interesting point system.” Contestants from across the country have 1 minute 30 seconds to show their talent, be it singing, dancing, magic, or comedy, before a panel of judges.

Before the performance, each contestant will rate themselves, and if the judges’ average rating matches it, they win and receive the full proceeds from that day’s ticket sales.
