It was around a year back when Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor made his OTT debut with Raj & DK’s series Farzi. Also, featuring South actor Vijay Sethupathi, the show was quite successful, leaving fans quite eager for its sequel. The show comes with a blend of intensity and charm with its equal share of thrill, emotions, laughs, and tricky situations. Besides Shahid, actors like KK Menon, Rashi Khanna, and Bhuvan Arora were also seen playing prominent roles in the show.
While the actor has already confirmed the second season, a fresh update is now making rounds about the Farzi Season 2’s release date.
Shahid Kapoor on Farzi 2
On social media, Shahid Kapoor had a fun interactive session during which a fan commented, “Sir waiting for Farzi season 2 (hundred percent) @shahidkapoor,” To this, the actor replied, “ART banana mein time lagta hai kachra jaldi ban jata hai (funny face).”
On the other hand, Shahid while speaking at the Pinkvilla Masterclass event was also seen spilling some beans about the second season.
“Farzi 2 will happen, and if anything else I like, I will, but as of now, I haven’t said yes to anything for OTT because I had two releases this year, so I’m going to do some stuff for theatres now. But Farzi 2 will definitely happen,” the actor said.
Raashi Khanna teases Farzi Season 2 release date
Raashi Khanna who also plays a significant role in the show recently dropped some major hints, teasing that the second season may drop by the end of next year. While interacting with fans on social media, the actress said, “I had a word with Raj sir, who is our director. He told me that the shooting for Farzi 2 will begin by the start of next year. So probably, Farzi 2 might arrive by the end of 2025.”
However, a confirmed report is yet to be received from the makers or Amazon Prime Video.
Shahid Kapoor was recently seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya alongside Kriti Sanon.
