Shah Rukh Khan pays tribute to 26/11 martyrs at Gateway of India; interacts with victims' families

November 26, 2008, an unfortunate date in the history of Mumbai, truly brings back the haunting memories of the ghastly terror attack that took place in Mumbai, leaving over a hundred people dead and more than 300 injured. While the wounds of the 26/11 attacks still remain fresh, 15 years have elapsed since the terrorist attacks, that shook the entire nation. As people across the nation paid their heartfelt tributes to martyrs who lost their lives in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks in 2008, actor Shah Rukh Khan was also among the ones who were seen paying his tributes to the martyrs at the Gateway of India on Sunday. As the country observes the 15th anniversary of the attack, the Bollywood star attended the Global Peace Honours event at the Gateway of India along with other Bollywood celebrities in attendance. Dressed in a formal black suit, the actor interacted with Sharad Kelkar and Amruta Fadnavis while also posing for the media. SRK also met the family members of the victims. He was seen greeting them, interacting with them, blessing the kids who lost their dear ones in the attack, and also posing for pictures with many of them. Organised by the Divyaj Foundation led by actor-singer Amruta Fadnavis, the event also saw many other stars including Tiger Shroff, Zayed Khan Kriti Kulhari, and Isha Koppikar among others arriving at the event. Sharad Kelkar was the host of the event. The film is all set to release on 21 December 2023.
