Shah Rukh Khan emerges top Pan-India star with Rs 2800 crore earnings in last three films, 'KGF' star Yash, Ranbir Kapoor follow

2023 was a great year for Shah Rukh Khan as he had three consecutive successes- Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. The collective business of all his films comes close to approximately Rs 2800 crore, which has made him the biggest pan-India star as off now. Ranbir Kapoor, who seen in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and Animal, has come on position three and KGF star Yash at number two.

Shah Rukh Khan returned on the celluloid after a gap of four years and gave his fans as many as three films- Jawan, Pathaan , and Dunki. The actor was nominated for two of his films at the recently concluded Filmfare awards and lost to Ranbir Kapoor for ‘Animal’.

Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan were all set to unite for filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh’s film called King, an action-packed entertainer. It was all set to go on floors soon but now, a report says the Pathaan star has opted out of the project, however there’s no confirmation about the same.

In an exclusive interview with Firstpost, when asked about his experience of working with the star on his directorial Badla (2019) that starred Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu, he had something to say.

“Shah Rukh is totally involved in that role. Once you have given him the film, it is his responsibility to get the film to the audience which he does beautifully. The kind of marketing he does is excellent, he is incredibly sharp. He is wearing the producer’s hat very capably and beautifully,” said Ghosh
