Saw X movie review: Tobin Bell's vengeance tale is gory, gripping & one of the best chapters in the franchise

The Saw franchise enjoys a huge fanbase across the globe, especially among cine lovers, who love gore with a dose of horror and torture. However, the last few parts were quite underwhelming. The latest part, Saw X, marks the return of Tobin Bell aka John Kramer, injects fresh blood and brings the franchise back on track.

The narrative, which takes place between the first two parts, sees Kramer heading to Mexico for an experimental terminal brain cancer treatment. However, it doesn’t work and he soon realizes that he become the victim of a scam. But those con artists have no idea with whom they have messed with.

Now, Jigsaw aka Kramer gathers all the culprits in the torture warehouse and post that we see lots of gore, where the majority of you won’t be able to see maximum scenes as it will make your stomach churn unless you are a fan of this genre. The writers and director have weaved the storytelling in such a way that it keeps you hooked till the last frame.

Talking about the performances, Tobin Bell steals the show as Jigsaw with his never-seen-before side. Right from being a terminally ill person to a merciless killer, he excels in each and every scene. Shawnee Smith makes a good comeback as Jigsaw’s partner in crime Amanda. Synnove Macody Lund as Dr Cecilia Pederson, the cold and wicked mastermind behind the scam also impresses with her portrayal.

_Saw X_ is a treat to the franchise fans but a strict warning to others as this gorefest can make your stomach churn and might haunt you for a long time.
