Sara Ali Khan on Netflix's 'Murder Mubarak' co-star Vijay Varma: 'Wasn't difficult to have chemistry with him because...'

Homi Adajania’s whodunit Murder Mubarak is now streaming on Netflix. Sara Ali Khan, who stars as one of the lead suspects in the film, spoke about her intense chemistry with co-star Vijay Varma and told ANI in an interview, “It was an absolute privilege. He is such an effortless actor and brings so much spontaneity to every scene. It wasn’t difficult to have chemistry with him because of the ease that Homi Sir created on set. Everyone was relaxed, professional, and totally in the scene.”

Vijay added, “But during one passionate, intense scene, when I least expected it, Sara was so deeply into her character, she pulled me in as well, and we gave a hot take! I realised that only when two actors share a comfortable bond and let go of their inhibitions can they create passion and chemistry. We are both super excited that now everyone’s talking about it. We finished the hot scene and went back to goofing around and leg pulling immediately.”

Talking about his role, actor Vijay Varma said at the trailer launch, “It is a little bit of a break from the bad guys I have played. I would like to say that. Although it’s a mystery, I won’t reveal much.”

Delving further into his character,  Varma hinted at Oberoi’s persona, revealing, “But Akash Oberoi is a lawyer, his heart is broken, that’s all I know. He has a love and hate relationship with this Club, and he wants to run away from it. So, this is what I can say right now…”

This time, we have the likes of Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, and Pankaj Tripathi. Every trippy character has its own motivations and conflicts, and everyone is hiding a demonic secret. What to expect from this murder mystery?
