Eva Grover is known for films like Aunty No. 1 and Ready, and the television show Bade Achche Lagte Hain. In an interview recently, she spoke about her abusive and toxic marriage with Aamir Khan’s stepbrother, Hyder Ali Khan, and how she found support in Salman Khan.
The actress revealed, “Salman was very supportive at that time. He even offered me a spot on Bigg Boss, and I was told that if I joined, they’d ensure I’d stay for a long time.”
She added, “I had all the happiness in the world and was doing well professionally, but what I really wanted was a home, a loving husband, and kids. We eloped and got married in just 18 days. My mother didn’t want me to marry him because it was an inter-faith relationship. But by the fourth day, I realized marriage wasn’t what I thought it would be.”
Grover continued, “I tried my best to save my marriage. I even had a child hoping it would make things better, but nothing worked. He wasn’t mature enough for that kind of responsibility,” she said. Eva described it as “one of the most abusive marriages.”
Recently, two unidentified persons opened fire outside the house of superstar Salman Khan in Mumbai’s Bandra on April 14 morning. According to police officials, three rounds were fired. The Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch has reached the spot for investigation, they said.
A report by India Today says the Bollywood superstar recorded his statement in the chargesheet prepared by the Mumbai Police.
“I heard a cracker-like sound. Then, at around 4.55 am, the police bodyguard said that two people on a bike had fired from a weapon at the Galaxy Apartment’s first floor balcony. There had been attempts to hurt me and my family prior to this as well. I have learnt that Lawrence Bishnoi has taken responsibility for the attack from social media. So, I believe that it is the Lawrence Bishnoi gang who have carried out the firing on my balcony,” the statement read.
