Salman Khan backs Mpower Mumbai Cyclothon 2025: 'Ride for your mind, ride for your city, ride for change'

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has publicly announced his support for the Ride to Mpower Mumbai Cyclothon 2025, urging Mumbaikars to join the cause of physical fitness, mental health awareness, and environmental sustainability.

Organized by the Loha Foundation under the FIT India Movement, in association with the Sports Authority of India (SAI), the event is scheduled for Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).

The cyclothon aims to unite individuals from all backgrounds to promote mental health awareness and help eliminate associated stigma, emphasizing that mental well-being is as crucial as physical health. This effort is supported by Mpower, an initiative of the Aditya Birla Education Trust, working to raise awareness for mental health. The organization encourages individuals to prioritize their mental health and seek help without hesitation, reinforcing the link between a healthy body and a healthy mind.

Hon. Race Director and Chief Advisor Krishna Prakash, IPS (ADG Force One – Planning & Coordination), commented, “Cycling is not just a sport, it’s a statement of endurance, discipline, and community. This event celebrates that spirit while shining a light on mental wellness.”

The event offers four distance categories—10KM, 25KM, 50KM, and 100KM—to accommodate all age groups and fitness levels. Participants will receive valuable amenities, including cycling jerseys, medals, goodies, personalized photos, E-Timing Certificates, and comprehensive on-course medical and hydration support.

The cyclothon will also feature various engagement zones, including mental health awareness zones, Zumba sessions, live music, a healthy breakfast, and a special “Charity BIB” option to directly support mental health services.
