Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery and the doctors are monitoring his progress.

All family members are safe and the police is investigating the incident.

Saif Ali Khan was injured after an intruder attacked him with a knife at his residence in Mumbai, police said on Thursday. Khan was hospitalised following the incident which took place around midnight at the actor’s house in the Bandra area, they said.

“An unknown person entered actor   Saif Ali Khan ’s residence and argued with his maid, late last night. When the actor tried to intervene and pacify the man, he attacked Saif Ali Khan and injured him. Police are investigating the matter,” said Mumbai Police.

As per a report by SCREEN, the intruders tried to attack the actor in his children’s room and he protected them and his wife Kareena, getting stabbed in the process.

As per initial information, an unidentified person entered Khan’s house and both of them had a rescue. Some family members of the actor were present in the house at the time of the incident, an official said.

Khan was injured in knife attack by the intruder. He was taken to the Lilavati Hospital in Bandra and was reported to be out of danger, the official said.
