Riya Barde, Bangladeshi porn star, arrested among eight for illegally living in India using forged documents

Riya Barde aka Arohi Barde, a well-known Bangladeshi adult actress was among eight women who were arrested in separate cases of staying illegally in India using forged documents, officials told PTI.

While Riya Barde was arrested from Ambernath City in Thane, seven other women were arrested from Navi Mumbai.

As per reports, Riya is staying in India illegally with her mother, brother, and sister. Allegedly,
Riya’s mother married a man from Amravati for this purpose.

The adult actress has been arrested by police in Mumbai in connection with a case related to prostitution under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.

Apart from Riya, police have also accused her mother Anjali Barde, alias RubySheikh, father Arvind Barde, brother Ravindra, alias Riyaz Sheikh, and sister Ritu, alias Moni Sheikh.

Sangram Malkar, police sub-inspector, the investigating officer, said, “In the probe, we found that Riya’s mother Anjali is a resident of Bangladesh and she was living illegally in India with her two daughters, including Riya, and son. Riya’s mother married Arvind Barde, a resident of Amravati, claiming to be from West Bengal. She later got an Indian passport made by submitting fake birth certificates and other fake documents for herself and the children to prove her Indian identity.”

As per police, Riya was associated with Raj Kundra’s production and has worked in
many porn movies.

As per police reports, Riya’s birth certificate, school leaving certificate and passport listed three different places of birth - West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas, Hooghly and Achalpur in Maharashtra’s Amravati district.
