Rishi Kapoor, Neetu's daughter Riddhima wishes parents on Instagram: 'Greatest example of the perfect couple'

Actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu celebrate their 39th wedding anniversary on Tuesday. To mark this occasion, the duo’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni put up a message for her parents on Instagram. She posted a collage of various throwback pictures of the couple on her timeline. While one of the pictures shows the younger version of Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, another picture features a little Riddhima with the couple. Other pictures in the collage have been clicked recently.

Rishi Kapoor and Neetu got married on 22 January, 1980. While Riddhima, the couple’s first child, was born in September, 1980, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor was born two years later.

The couple’s first onscreen appearance was in the year 1974 with the film Zeheerla. They have also co-starred in popular films like Do Dooni Char, Besharam, Kabhi Kabhie, Rafoo Chakkar and Amar Akbar Anthony. Currently, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu are in New York where the former is undergoing medical treatment for an  undisclosed illness. Their children often visit US to meet them. Riddhima Kapoor Sahni is married to Delhi based businessman Bharat Sahni and they are parents to a seven-year-old daughter Samara.
