'Real Jameel Jamali' Nabil Gabol slams 'Dhurandhar 2' amid its success: 'They used a comedian Rakesh Bedi to play my role'

Dhurandhar 2 has not only put actors like Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna back on top, it has also proved why veteran star Rakesh Bedi was always a hoot. There were strong reports and rumours that his character in Aditya Dhar’s intricate spy drama was inspired by Pakistani politician Nabil Gabol called Jameel Jamali. And the politician has taken a dig at the film.

In a recent interview with a content creator, Gabol was quoted saying, “The truth is that they cannot fight Pakistan or the Pakistani Army, so they created a movie instead. Through this, they have made Lyari internationally famous. The people of Lyari do not care; they are very strong.”

He added, " They used a comedian, Rakesh Bedi, to play my role and portrayed him as Nabil Gabol."

“I see a lot of trolling on Indian social media asking why Nabil Gabol has gone silent. Well, today is the 26th, and I will give you a powerful response, just as the Pakistani Army responded to you. Just as six of your planes were shot down, I will also give you a proper answer regarding what Lyari actually is.”

What Rakesh Bedi said
