Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has been diagnosed with early stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat, revealed his son Hrithik Roshan on Instagram. The cancer was detected a few weeks ago and Rakesh has been undergoing treatment since then. Hrithik posted a photo of himself alongside his father just before their workout.
He also praised his father for taking his battle with cancer head on and living life to its fullest. “As a family, we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him,” he added. On the work front, both Rakesh and Hrithik have _Krrish 4_ in the pipeline, in which the actor is rumoured to play both the superhero and the villain. Priyanka Chopra has been confirmed to play the female lead opposite Rakesh in the VFX-loaded superhero adventure, which is slated to release on Christmas 2020.
