Who said we need stars for an entertaining and engaging watch whether it is a movie or a series, audiences need honest performers. And that’s exactly what  The Family Man Season 3  is all about. Solid story-line, brilliant direction and stellar craftsmen and that’s all you need for a successful show.

No showoff of star power and toxic masculinity of the male protagonist, each and every character play an important role. Not Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Gul Panag, Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur deliver brilliant performances. Thanks to OTT, audiences have evolved and we all can differentiate between good cinema and bad cinema. The Family Man could sustain the love that they got from the very first season because they brought in front of us characters that we can relate to and most importantly stories that needed to be told and understood.

In an age when mainstream cinema as in Bollywood often bows to the demand of commerce and convention, there should always be a space for quieter, braver and truthful storytelling. Thankfully,  The Family Man  being one of the first series on the digital platform has always paid attention to stories that are told for their essence.

The Family Man Season 3  just like its previous two seasons reflects the geo-politic situation of our country; our society and how urban relationships are changing over a period of time. The third Season introduces a new antagonist in the form of Jaideep Ahlawat, who plays the role of a drug smuggler in the North East. Nimrat Kaur also plays a prominent role in the series as the boss lady.

The Family Man Season 3

Torn between duty, emotions, and responsibilities, Srikant (Manoj Bajpayee) is racing against time, as he must protect not only himself and his family but also the nation from an imminent threat. Raj & DK’s Season 3 of The Family Man takes a serious turn Srikant’s personal life gets affected because of his profession. He is forced to go on the run with his family while facing an even more alarming threat in Rukma and Meera played by Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur.

The Family Man Season 3 makes us realise that there are emotional and vulnerable sides to a villain too. Rukma (Jaideep Ahlawat) unconditionally loves his partner and their son, just that he never expressed it. The series is a perfect cliffhanger and we will all be waiting for the next season to know what happens to our beloved family man, Shrikant Tiwari.
