Priyanka Chopra Jonas is currently in India for a 10-day trip with her husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie to enjoy Holi. Ever since her arrival, the actress had been busy with events and meetings. However, the diva managed to take some time out for spiritual endeavours as she visited the Ram temple in Ayodhya on Wednesday with her family. The former Miss World, for her visit to the temple, opted for a bright yellow saree the price of which is jaw-dropping.
Priyanka Chopra was accompanied by her husband Nick and their daughter Maltie for their maiden visit to the Ram temple. The actress’ daughter Malti Marie was a delight to watch as she wore a peach-coloured kurta for the temple visit whereas Nick exuded simplicity and class in an embroidered kurta-pajama to complement his wife and daughter. However, what caught the attention of many was the global icon’s made-to-order Chanderi silk bright yellow saree. Featuring charming ‘phool-pati’ motifs and a golden border, Priyanka’s yellow saree with a matching blouse added a charm to the beauty of the beloved international star. However, what caught everyone’s attention was the price of the saree. It is priced at Rs 63,800.
Priyanka shared a few glimpses of her visit to the temple in which she can be seen seeking blessings from Lord Ram along with her husband, and daughter. The last slide of her post displayed a cute video in which the Citadel actress can be seen trying her best to make Maltie say ‘Ayodhya’. She posted the pictures with a caption that read, “Jai Siya Ram. Blessings for the little one and the family.”
Priyanka Chopra arrived in India with her daughter last week to attend the Bulgari Roman Holi exhibition hosted by Isha Ambani. Later, she was accompanied by Nick Jonas who was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Monday. A day before she visited Ayodhya, the actress was also clicked outside Farhan Akhtar’s house where Ritesh Sidhwani also came to join them for dinner. Priyanka’s visit to Farhan’s house comes amid no updates on their most anticipated collaboration with Jee Le Zaraa. The film, expected to feature Priyanka along with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in lead roles, was delayed for unknown reasons.
