The actress addressed the issue and wrote on her Instagram story, “I feel really hurt to share this and have to talk about the deepfake video of me being spread online. Something like this is honestly, extremely scary not only for me but also for each one of us who today is vulnerable to so much harm because of how technology is being misused.” Alia Bhatt had also become a victim of deepfake . A morphed video making rounds on the internet showed a woman, with the edited face of the Darlings actress. Considering the video included obscene content, the video had once again sparked concerns about the use of artificial intelligence and deepfake. Deepfake in Hollywood Several Hollywood biggies became victims of deepfakes and raised their points on social media among the netizens. Scarlett Johannson, one of the highest-paid actresses in the West, tackled challenges when her face was morphed into adult films. Despite going the legal way, the actress expressed her concern due to the vastness of the content. Actress Kristen Bell known for Frozen also became a victim of deepfake manipulation when her face was used for inappropriate content on the internet. The actress shared a statement that revealed that her face was used on someone else’s body without her consent. Prominent stars like Tom Hanks, Robert Pattinson & Morgan Freeman also have been victims of deepfake.
