Actress and entrepreneur Preity Zinta has donated Rs 1 crore to Army Wives Welfare Association post ‘Operation Sindoor’ and called the act as her absolute honour.

“It’s both an honour and a responsibility to support the courageous families of our soldiers,” Zinta said, her words carrying the weight of sincerity. “While we can never fully repay the sacrifices made by our armed forces, we can stand beside their families and help them move forward.”

The actress has two brothers; Deepankar and Manish, a year older and a year younger, respectively. Deepankar is a commissioned officer in the Indian Army, while Manish lives in California.

Preity Zinta was chatting with her fans on X when she revealed how her first love died in a car crash as she remembered ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’.

The actress wrote- “Yes I cry when I see it and I cried when we were filming it too ! My first love died in a car crash so this film always hit different 💔 Fun Fact - Most scenes all actors cried naturally…. And Aman’s death scene had everyone crying in front of the camera and behind it too !”

And few years back, Preity had said this about the 2003 love triangle- “Kal Ho Naa Ho was the saddest happy film I did. Nothing can replace those memories and I will forever be grateful to Yash Uncle for making this incredible film. It was the last time he was on set.”
