Prateik Babbar to marry longtime girlfriend Sanya Sagar on 22 January in her hometown Lucknow

Actor Prateik Babbar and his writer-director-editor fiance Sanya Sagar are all set to tie knot later this month, as reported by Mumbai Mirror. The wedding will be a two-day affair and it will be conducted in Lucknow which is former’s hometown. The ceremonies will take place on 22 and 23 January. Also, a wedding reception in Mumbai has also been planned, for which the date and venue will be selected soon. The reports also states that they have known each other for almost a decade but have been dating for only around two years and are excited to take their relationship to next level." Their engagement ceremony took place in Lucknow last year. Babbar, while talking to Mumbai Mirror had said, “She’s the best partner I could have asked for. It didn’t take me long to figure out that she was the one for me.” A graduate from the National Institute of Fashion Technology in fashion communications, Sagar has an diploma in practical filmmaking from the London Film Academy. While both their fathers are strong political leaders, it is their mutual love for cinema that bought them together.

On work front, Babbar had three releases Baaghi 2, Mulk and Mitron  in 2018. In  Baaghi 2 , he co-starred with Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani while his  _Mulk_  co-stars were Taapsee Pannu and Rishi Kapoor. Nitesh Tiwari’s  Chhichhore , starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor, is Prateik’s next film.
