Pooja Hegde reunites with Thalapathy Vijay for his 50th film 'Jana Nayagan' for the song 'Thalapathy Kacheri'

Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde are one of the most fiery on-screen pairs, and it’s never a dull moment when they set the dance floor on fire. Jana Nayagan marks the 50th film of Thalapathy Vijay, and it also marks a special project for Pooja Hegde, considering that their incredible chemistry has always won hearts of their audience. Earlier, the actress described her journey as an “emotional ride”, and shared that working with him has been the “most relaxing appearance”. “He’s the sweetest co-star to work with,” she had shared.

Whether it’s Arabic Kuthu, Jolly O Gymkhana or Thalapathy Kacheri, Pooja Hegde and Thalapathy Vijay’s collaborations have always been memorable for their fans. It has always created storm on the internet, leaving many of their fans recreating their addictive hooksteps. Thalapathy Kacheri is composed by Anirudh and has the vocals by the music director himself, alongside Vijay and lyricist Arivu.

Jana Nayagan reunites Vijay with his Beast co-star Pooja Hegde. Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Narain are also part of the ensemble cast. Billed as a political actioner, the Vijay starrer is scheduled to hit theatres on 9th January, 2026, coinciding with the Pongal festival.

In addition to Jana Nayagan, Pooja Hegde is also coming up with Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, a Hindi rom-com that sees her alongside Varun Dhawan. Directed by David Dhawan, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on 10th April, 2026.
