Parineeti Chopra on being replaced in Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’: ‘Was doing the film but when Netflix’s Amar Singh Chamkila came…’

Parineeti Chopra was doing Rashmika Mandana’s role in Animal that also starred Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.

In an interview recently, the actress revealed why she was not seen in the film. “To be honest, I think god had something better for me. I was doing that film, almost everything was worked out. But on the same dates, I was offered Chamkila.”

Parineeti added, “I was offered many songs, I was singing songs composed by AR Rahman, Imtiaz Ali was my dream director. I was offered to do so much more, that I chose to do Chamkila. And the love, support, recognition, respect and nominations which I got because of Chamkila, I think I don’t regret it, I am happy.”

One of the adorable couples in town, the newly-married Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got married just a few months back in 2024 after dating for a brief period. While the two are often seen spending quality time together and showing support for each other on social media, Parineeti recalled her first meeting with Raghav. Revealing that they met in London for the first time, the actress also shared how she was very impressed with him in the very first instance.
