Paresh Rawal says 'Akshay Kumar is not a friend' ahead of 'Hera Pheri 3' and 'Bhooth Bangla: 'My friends in Bollywood are...'

In a recent interview with The Lallantop, Paresh Rawal said Akshay Kumar is not a friend but a colleague. He added, ‘The ones I consider friends- whom I can respectfully call friends – were Om Puri sahab, Naseer bhai (Naseeruddin Shah), and Johnny Lever. These are the people I can call friends. You know, the kind of friendship where you feel you have the permission to say so.’

Rawal has also how Ajay Devgn’s father Veeru Devgan asked him to drink his urine for 15 days when he was injured.

The actor said, ‘I did this for 15 days. 15 days later when the doctor took my X-ray, he was shocked. The doctor asked me, ‘How did this cementing happen?’ He could see a white line forming. I was supposed to be discharged in 2-2.5 months, but I was discharged in 1.5 months. It was like magic.’

Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal are two of the finest actors in the Indian film industry. In a recent interview, the latter spoke about the former’s no-nonsense attitude and recalled an incident where he made a producer wash utensils after a meal together. Paresh also revealed that he was the first character artist to demand Rs 1 crore.

“There was this producer – I won’t name him. Nana told him to come home one day. He asked, ‘Do you eat mutton?’ The producer ate. After the meal, Nana said – ‘You ate, right? Now go and wash the dishes.’ That is Nana Patekar- baap hai. Wo alag hi hai. Wo mitti alag hai yaar. (He’s a legend. He’s built different, made from a different mold)," said Paresh Rawal while talking to The Lallantop.
