Paresh Rawal clarifies no 'creative differences' with the makers as he quits 'Hera Pheri 3': 'My decision was...'

As Paresh Rawal quits Hera Pheri 3, the actor has clarified on Twitter there are no ‘creative differences’ with the makers.

Rawal tweeted- “I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER . I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director.”

When Hera Pheri 3 was officially annouced with our beloved iconic characters - Raju (Akshay Kumar), Shyam (Suniel Shetty) and Baburao Ganpatrao Apte (Paresh Rawal), it created humongous buzz among the fans.

However, the latest reports suggest that Paresh Rawal has quit the film due to creative differences with the makers. “There were creative differences between the makers and Paresh Rawal. As a result, the actor decided to step down from the film,” said a source to Bollywood Hungama.

As per the publication, Paresh Rawal confirmed the news to them and said, “Yes, it’s a fact.” An industry insider is hoping for a miracle that the veteran actor returns to the franchise. “There was a time when Akshay Kumar was out of the film, in 2022. Even he’s the soul of the series hence, his exit led to disappointment. But thankfully, he returned to the franchise. Based on that episode, we hope Mr Rawal can also be back in the series,” he told the publication.

While Hera Pheri was released in 2000, Phir Hera Pheri, which turned out to be a huge box office success, was released in 2006.
