Netflix's 'The Great Indian Kapil Show': Navjot Singh Sidhu and Kapil Sharma in trouble over claims of cancer cure, former cricketer and his wife receive Rs 850 crore legal notice

Navjot Singh Sidhu and Kapil Sharma have landed in trouble as in one of the recent episodes of Netflix’s ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, a discussion happened around curing cancer. Sidhu recently announced his wife was cancer free and shared the methods and techniques, including diet, to get cured of it.

He and his Navjot Kaur Sidhu have received a legal notice of Rs 850 crore as the former cricketer claimed his wife recovered from stage 4 cancer in 40 days due to a “special diet”.

In another post, he wrote, “This war against cancer involved surgeries, chemotherapy, hormonal and targeted therapy, a strict diet plan and determination to fight cancer, together they worked as immunotherapy…”

Sidhu also wrote- “The diet chart included lemon water, turmeric, apple cider vinegar, walnuts, juice made from beetroot, carrot, and amla, among other items. She also consumed neem leaves, but sugar, dairy products and wheat were removed from her diet.”

The aforementioned notice was issued by The Chhattisgarh Civil Society (CCS). “It has the potential to create negativity in people’s minds towards allopathic medicine and treatment. It is compelling even cancer patients to leave the medication in between, which has increased their life risks,” read the notice.
