Netflix's 'Single Papa' Trailer Review: Kunal Kemmu and Manoj Pahwa bring the house down in this hilarious web-series

Netflix unveiled the hilarious and heartwarming trailer of its upcoming family comedy Single Papa, introducing viewers to Gaurav Gehlot, a 30-year-old lovable man-child, whose idea of adulting is not worrying about his underwear because his mom still buys them, and counting on timely pocket money from his father. That is, until he leaves his boisterous Indian family absolutely shook by announcing he’s adopting a baby.

Leading man Kunal Kemmu, both as an actor and a filmmaker, has proved comedy is indeed his forte and he knows how to bring the house down. And the same can be said about the inimitable and ingenious veteran called Manoj Pahwa. Joining the madness are Neha Dhupia, Ayesha Raza, and Prajakta Koli.

What does the trailer offer?

The trailer gives audiences a first look at Kemmu’s hilarious yet heartfelt journey as he tries to balance baby bottles with bad decisions, often at the same time. From fumbling with diapers, dodging unsolicited advice from everyone within a 10-km radius, to trying to convince his shocked parents that this is not a prank, the trailer delivers humour, sensitivity, and unapologetic desi drama.

Single Papa promises a cosy, binge-worthy watch that blends comedy, chaos, and real emotion, a slice of life that feels universal, modern, and unmistakably desi.

The series premieres December 12, exclusively on Netflix , bringing laughter, warmth, and full-on humour.
