Alia Bhatt has added another feather to her cap. She has become the only Bollywood actor to feature in Time 100 Most Influential List. And on this achievement, her Heart Of Stone director Tom Harper has heaped praises on the actress.
“She is not only one of the world’s leading actors, admired for her work in the Indian film industry for over a decade—she is also a businesswoman and a philanthropist who leads with integrity,” the director wrote for Alia. She also wrote-“Alia’s superpower is her ability to mix movie-star magnetism with authenticity and sensitivity. As an actor she is luminous, and as a person she brings the grounded assurance and creativity that make a truly international star.”
Dev Patel , Dua Lipa, Oscar-winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Oscar-nominated actors Jeffrey Wright and Colman Domingo. Taraji P Henson, Elliot Page, Michael J. Fox, Sofia Coppola and Hayao Miyazak also featured on the list.
Alia Bhatt and Hope Gala
Bhatt is all set to host her first ‘Hope Gala’ in London.
As per a source close to the actress’ team, Alia will host Hope Gala on March 28 in partnership with the Mandarin Oriental hotel group at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London. This is in support of Alia’s chosen charity Salaam Bombay which is focused on engaging Mumbai’s most vulnerable ‘at-risk’ children through in-school programmes (leadership and advocacy) and after-school academies (skill building) that help build their confidence, self-esteem and commit them to stay in school.
Alia Bhatt rang in her 31st birthday with her husband Ranbir Kapoor and family including Neetu Kapoor, Shaheen Bhatt, and Soni Razdan. She was also joined by her and Ranbir’s close friends Akash Ambani, Isha Ambani, and her husband Anand Piramal. As the Kapoor and Bhatt families arrived at the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai on the eve of March 14 to celebrate the actress’ birthday, several pictures and videos captured by paparazzi started making rounds on the Internet, giving a glimpse of the delightful gathering.
