Netflix's 'Aap Jaisa Koi' actress Fatima Sana Shaikh: 'A man once touched me inappropriately, he then hit me so hard that...'

Fatima Sana Shaikh is enjoying the response to both her consecutive releases Metro In Dino and Netflix’s Aap Jaisa Koi. But in an interview with Hauterrfly, she spoke about facing harassment years back.

The actress revealed, “Once, a man touched me inappropriately, and I hit him. But he hit me back so hard, that I was fully down. I only hit him because he touched me, but that pissed him off and he hit me to the point that I fell.”

She added, “After that incident, I got a little more cautious. I realised that we also have to check how to react in such situations. But look at the irony… Something wrong is happening with us, and we only have to think how to react to it.”

Fatima Sana Shaikh will be featured in two romantic films in July, with one being Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino, followed by Netflix’s Aap Jaisa Koi. Despite her busy schedule, the Dangal star recently made headlines regarding her personal life, with reports claiming that she is dating Vijay Varma.

However, during the trailer preview of Netflix’s  \_Aap Jaisa Koi\_, the actress subtly dismissed these rumours. The actress spoke about her idea of romance and shared, “The idea of equality of love is where two people respect each other, and they will listen to each other and won’t deny it. I think that is an equal relationship now, and compromises need to be made by both. When you come into a partnership, you work towards the relationship without losing yourself. I think that is the way to have a successful relationship.”
