Former Suits actress and Duchess of Sussex is joined by various famous faces as she prepares home-made bath salts, extracts honey from a beehive and carefully places flowers on, well, everything. But despite being one of the top 10 most watched shows, Meghan Markle has been brutally criticized by critics.
According to a News Week story, it has been said that Netflix’s With Love Meghan has worse score than Meghan and Prince Harry ’s original biopic for the streaming giant especially when it comes to reviews. The Mirror too said, Meghan Markle’s Netflix cooking show has received generally negative reviews since its release onto the streaming platform, as the Duchess of Sussex continues to try new ways of building her media empire.
Not much of her personality has been revealed in the Netflix show, rather it is more about self-glorification. She doesn’t mention much about her life before meeting Prince Harry. In one of the scenes, it has been seen that Meghan is wrapping gifts. In fact, she mentions that before becoming an actress, she used to run gift wrapping classes.
Many critics believe that the show lacked personal touch. According to the Mirror report, Bronte Coy said, “There were so many times during the show where she began to say something wildly interesting or personal then just completely steered away and talked about an egg yolk instead.”

According to Netflix in With Love Meghan, Meghan shares personal tips and tricks for hosting and adding more fun and thoughtfulness to the everyday. Drawing on her years of home cooking and entertaining, she spends time with friends new and old as they make memories together — whether reminiscing about growing up in Los Angeles with chef Roy Choi or laughing at the prospect of tucking a fish into a blanket of salt with cherished girlfriends.
