Veteran actress Neena Gupta is known to showcase her bold fashion styles every now and then. In the latest, the Uunchai star was spotted alongside co-actor Jackie Shroff, wearing a powder blue dress. As visible in the picture shared by the 64-year-old actress on Instagram, the two were seen posing ‘at the screening of their upcoming movie’, Sabun, directed by Vijay Maurya. With this, the actor duo, who last worked together in director Sonam Nair’s short film Khujli, are returning for another film now. Take a look:
“Looking fab,” wrote one user. Another account wrote, “always inspired by you Ma’am.” Several others dropped red hearts on the post.
The actress also shared a picture with her film’s director, Vijay Maurya, on Instagram Stories.
Decoding outfits
Neena Gupta’s powder blue dress featured a shrug that she loosely hung over her shoulders. The Badhaai Do actress accessorised her look with oversized stud earrings and nude pumps. In a perfect complement to her look, she tied her hair up in a ponytail.
Jackie Shroff, on the other hand, opted for a blue shirt, paired with beige pants and a white sporty cap.
Work Front
Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta previously worked together in Sonam Nair’s short film, Khujli. As per the 2017 film’s plot, it revolved around the secret desires and hidden fantasies of a middle-aged couple which they never discussed in their 25-year marriage.
Work-wise, Neena Gupta was last seen in R. Balki’s Lust Stories 2. The actress is set to appear in Vishal Bhardwaj’s debut web series, where he acts as the writer, director and composer. The series, titled Charlie Chopra and the Mystery of Solang Valley, is an official adaptation of Agatha Christie’s 1931 novel, The Sittaford Mystery. It stars renowned actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Gulshan Grover, Ratna Pathak Shah among others.
Neena Gupta will also appear in Anurag Kashyap’s Metro….In Dino. The film features Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Sheikh among others.
On the other hand, Jackie Shroff was last seen in the Ahmed Khan-directed Baap. The project’s plot showcased the iconic 90s action heroes, Mithun Chakraborty, Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles.
