Deepika Padukone had a blockbuster start in her career that took a slump due to commercial failures. Post Cocktail in 2012, it has been a dream run. And now, as per data compiled by IMDb and Forbes, she’s the highest paid actress in 2024, beating stars like Kangana Ranaut, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif. She charges between 15-20 crore per project.

She is followed by actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut. The Emergency actress charges Rs 15 crores to Rs 27 crores per movie. Priyanka Chopra Jonas is third on the list with a reported fees of Rs 15 crores to Rs 25 crores per movie.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. Their chemistry and love for each other are evident in their every appearance or picture. The couple never fails to dish out some amazing couple goals, making all the fans go heart-eyed.

Days after that, the actress recently opened up about her married life, sharing how she and Ranveer manage to take time for each other.

‘Spending time with my husband is important’, says Deepika Padukone

“Spending time with my husband is very important and you have to make time. He and I make the effort as it cannot be one-sided. We have to schedule it. In our professions, one of us will be travelling for a month at a time or sometimes he might have a late night and I have an early morning. There are also times when we are in the same city but hardly get time with each other. However, it’s not the quantum of time but the quality of time that we have together. We love it when it’s just two of us but we also love spending time with our family,” the actress said in a latest interaction with Vogue India.
