Another said, ‘Humko ye bahut bekar lagta hai ki maj khushboo mam ko sabhi disha patani ke naam se kyu pehchan milti hai jabki Khushboo mam ek ex indian army officer reh chuki as wo major rank tak.’

Coming to the actress, ahead of the release of Sidharth Malhotra’s ‘Yodha’, the makers of the action film organised a trailer launch event last year. It was attended by the cast and crew of the film including producer Karan Johar and female leads, Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani. Disha, during the trailer launch, came out defending the filmmaker Karan Johar over allegations of nepotism while also revealing that she was in fact ‘spotted’ by him during her teenage years.
Disha Patani, at the event, revealed, “If I am an actress today, it is also because of Karan Johar; because he was the one who actually spotted me when I was modelling. I was just 18. I feel like I wouldn’t have been here, if he hadn’t spotted me at that time. So when people say whatever (hinting at nepotism)… I am an outsider. So I feel like this is the opportunity that he gave me.”
