Lee died due to cardiac arrest, respiratory and congestive heart failure aged 95 at Los Angeles on 12 November. He also makes a cameo in the animated film, which Jake Johnson, voice of Peter Parker described as “kind of bittersweet now.”
“He’s got a line — that I’m not going to spoil — that was meant as one thing and now it’s another since he passed. I’m just really glad that he’s in it because this all started in between his ears at one point, and that’s a really wild idea if you think about it,” Johnson told THR at the red carpet.
The film is set to release in Indian cinemas on 14 December. Early impressions of the film , which has all previous Spider-Man films sharing the screen were largely positive. Some even termed it as one of the best films of 2018.
