Kajol is currently busy promoting her upcoming mythological horror movie, Maa, in which she plays the role of a fierce mother. While the film is expected to scare the audience in the cinema halls, it seems that fans already find her intimidating in real life, as evidenced by her banter with paparazzi, which often goes viral on social media.
In a recent interaction, when Kajol was asked about her ‘scary image’ and comparison with the veteran actress Jaya Bachchan, who is known for her no-nonsense attitude, she smartly plugged in her movie Maa with a smile. “It’s okay if you believe that I’m scary, please go watch Maa," while talking to Zoom.
Kajol also shared her children’s reaction to those videos and said, “See, Mama, you’re so natural. See, what you are at home is what you are outside." The actress spoke about dealing with paps and shared its just about clicking pictures anymore and said, “They’re waiting for you to say something. They coax you, they push you, till you have to — not scream back at them — but at least say, ‘listen guys calm down.’ You know, you don’t need to yell and scream to get a good picture."
Two worlds. One mytho-horror storm.

Talking about the shift in the behaviour of media, she added, “It’s not about just clicking a picture or just clicking a video anymore. It’s about a reaction that they want because it has a tagline attached to it, or they can attach some sort of a negative tagline."
Talking about Maa, the movie also stars Ronit Roy , Indraneil Sengupta , Jitin Gulati, Gopal Singh, Suryasikha Das, Yaani Bharadwaj, Rupakatha Chakraborty and Kherin Sharma in prominent roles. It is directed by Vishal Furia.
