The ‘Deme’ label by Gabriella Demetriades unveiled the romantic and utterly, feminine “Summer of Love” collection and Ranna Gill brought the beauty of the “Urban Prairie” fantasy at Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI. The event took place at Jio World Convention Centre, situated at Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. Jio World Convention Centre is one of India’s foremost convention & exhibition centres and a leading destination for conventions, exhibitions and social events spanning over 1 million sq. ft. Since its launch in Mar 2022, the Centre has hosted over 1300+ events and experienced a footfall
over 2.5 million.
The ‘Deme’ label incorporated the sleek sophistication of Ferrari-inspired detailing, along with the delicate beauty of lace and organza, silk, satin and suede fabrics that set the style quotient into top gear. Single jersey and suiting fabrics were visualised cleverly with chiffon and crepe, while it was the Malai jersey and mesh that brought a contemporary edge to the creations. Colours have always played an important role in the ‘Deme’ collection. There was an utterly harmonious story of hues as they presented arresting visuals on the ramp. Beige, off-white and butter yellow, set the pace, while rose and baby pink turned into a colourful medley with olive, brown, grey and black. Shimmering gold added drama to the mesh, while fringe detailing brought a flirty appeal.
The silhouettes were dynamic, strong and impressive, as they showcased energy of a feminine, sartorial kind. Impressive shoulders struck a perfect balance with grace and power. From striking construction, it was the elegance of fluid, feminine drapes, which ensured that the collection was the embodiment of timeless value. Deme’s signature ultra-glam creations with masterful contouring and innovative forms gave the ensembles a memorable touch that is what fashion followers long for.
The well-known influencer, Sakshi S sashayed down the ramp in a sheer/solid, black, long-sleeved creation with a hip high slit to bring the show to a glamorous end. The “Summer of Love” collection by Gabriella Demetriades for her label ‘Deme’ brought not only a serene, stylish quality on the runway but an elegance and look that will add the perfect glam touches for the coming
season in the wardrobes of trendsetters.

The fabulous Madhuri Dixit Nene looked amazing as she glided down the ramp in a shimmering, 3-piece, sharply, cut suit with bouquets of flowers and a subtle shimmer splashed all over.
