Earlier this year, the Mumbai edition kicked off the platform’s silver-jubilee celebrations with a gala honoring its legacy. The spotlight now shifts to the capital, where the next showcase is set to unfold in New Delhi. With its bi-annual format in Mumbai and New Delhi, the platform has been instrumental in shaping India’s fashion narrative both across the country and globally.

Launched in 1999 as India’s most definitive fashion week, the platform has grown into a powerhouse partnership between Lakmē, the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), and Reliance Brands. The upcoming edition promises a dynamic and immersive celebration of Indian design, spotlighting sustainability, diversity, and the future of fashion.

Bringing together an exciting line-up of established names and emerging talent, the platform will showcase bold collections and visionary storytelling that highlight creativity and craftsmanship at their finest. From runway showcases to curated experiences, the platform continues to shape India’s style narrative while championing the next generation of fashion leaders. To kick off the season, The Fashion Design Council of India and Lakmē Fashion Week have partnered with The Kunj - a new retail space for artisans and designers. The showcase features Akaaro, Anavila along with an edit of the various brands, artisans and designers from the Kunj.
