At the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week 2025, Bollywood actress Ananya Panday turned showstopper for designer Anamika Khanna for the opening day and stunned with her ramp walk. The actress flaunted an ensemble from the Silver Collar collection.
Ananya told the media, “Fashion for me is fun. I mean, for me, fashion never really has any rules. I can only speak about myself, and the more I’ve grown in the industry, I’ve started having fun with fashion.”
On walking for Anamika Khanna for the first time, the actress said, “So it’s my first time, I think, collaborating with Anamika Khanna, and she’s one of my favorite designers whom I’ve looked up to. I’ve loved her work, and it’s such a special time to be collaborating with her.”

Talking to Firstpost, Ananya said, “I did have a lot of fun playing the character because she’s nothing like I’ve ever done before or experienced before because she’s just operating on some other level. Even when people ask me to describe her, I say that she’s a mix of so many characters but at the end of the day, she’s also very original to what she is, she’s fearless and fun and she is so, easy with people making fun of her and like owning that space and kind of getting her confidence in that that that’s something.”
