KWK 8: Janhvi Kapoor says she'll 'never' date an actor after alleged breakup with Kartik Aaryan: 'I can't deal with...'

In the latest episode of Koffee With Karan season 8, Janhvi Kapoor, who graced the couch with sister Khushi Kapoor, made some interesting revelations on the show. The actress said she will ’never’ date any actor again in her life.

For the unversed, the Bawaal actress reportedly dated Kartik Aaryan during the filming of Dostana 2, which is now being shelved. Talking about the reason for not going in a relationship with an actor, she said, “I want someone to be obsessed with me. The thing is you need someone to be okay with your… there needs to be a balance. You need someone who is okay to let you have your moment also but I find with actors that they get very competitive and they get very weird. I’ve said never (to dating actors).”

She added, “There is always tension when there is an actor. I can’t deal with that tension because I like to be undyingly devoted and I expect that devotion and I think when you are in the same profession, it’s difficult, specifically this (acting) profession.”

On the work front,  Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in films like Mr. and Mrs. Mahi and the much-awaited Jr. NTR starrer action entertainer Devara Part 1, which is releasing in cinemas on April 5th, 2024.

On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan will next be seen in Kabir Khan’s directorial Chandu Champion which has been booked for a June 14, 2024 release. He will also be seen in Hansal Mehta’s next film, Captain India, one of the first collaborations between the two.

The actor will also feature in Aashiqui 3, which will be directed by Anurag Basu of Gangster, Murder and Barfii fame. As per the reports, Tripti Dimri will be seen opposite him in the movie.
