On coping with online negativity and trolls

Amid rumours covering her from all sides, Kusha Kapila shared that she benefits from a strong support system that includes her friends, family, and colleagues. She further described how everyone forms a circle around her which protects her immensely. “I am so lucky and privileged to have those people in my life,” she added.

On being a public figure

The Sukhee star said that she understands that ‘public scrutiny’ is an inherent aspect of being a public figure. However, she also understands if people benefit from their public persona, they will have something to say and that it is human nature to express opinions.

She added, “Kuch toh log kahenge, logo ka kaam hai kehna (people will keep on saying something). This is liable to happen.” On her current purpose in life, the influencer added, “My life now is just in the service of making my skin thicker and thicker everyday. That’s just what I work towards. Every day I have to be immune and thick-skinned. Scars will heal soon.”
