Koffee with Karan: Shahid Kapoor discusses life after marriage; Ishaan Khatter addresses Jahnvi Kapoor rumours

From Arjun Kapoor-Janhvi Kapoor  to  Sonam Kapoor-Rhea and Harshvardhan , Koffee with Karan this season has had a number of celebrity siblings share the couch. This week, Dhadak star Ishaan Khatter will accompany his elder brother Shahid Kapoor on Karan Johar’s chat show. Star World[/caption] Whereas Shahid has appeared in all the five previous instalments of the show, Ishaan will be marking his debut on Koffee with Karan. Shahid, who played Rajput prince Maharawal Ratan Singh in last year’s Rs 200 crore blockbuster Padmaavat, spoke about his relationship with other industry members, admitting that his social life has been condensed to his family after his marriage. “My relationship status with most of the industry is zilch. Ever since I got married, I have literally not had a social life. I don’t know if that’s a good thing, I probably think it’s a really bad thing. I have been recluse anyway and now I am so into my kids that every time I finish shooting, I am only with them.” Talking about handling his parents’ separation, Shahid said that such events are emotionally impactful and are instrumental in shaping an individual’s personality. He adds, “There are so many different types of relationships that exist today and I don’t think there are any rules to the game. It’s all about love, togetherness, forgiving, learning to move on and learning to prioritize the fact that you eventually want to be together.” Since the release of Dhadak, speculations were rife that the lead pair of the film, Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor are romantically involved. In a fun banter, Shahid echoed Arjun Kapoor, who said in an earlier episode of the show that Janhvi and Ishaan are always around each other, further fanning the speculation. However, Khatter put the rumours to rest when he said “We go to the gym together, listen to music, whole lot of south Indian music which is not my choice but I have grown to like it, watch movies and eat food.” Koffee with Karan season 6 airs every Sunday on Star World at 9 pm.
