Shefali Shah tells Amitabh Bachchan on Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 how she wanted a girl child after a boy

On the recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, Shefali Shah told Amitabh Bachchan how she wanted a girl child after a boy. Shefali shared, “When a baby is born, it is a very happy moment. It is for me also, specially a girl. I have two boys. First time, it was ok. He was my first born, very excited. During the second delivery, when he was born, doctor said, ‘kitna khubsurat beta hai’. I said, ‘dobara check kar lo shayad beti ho.’ There are so many people, who want a girl. Even in this day and age at some places, babies are abandoned and specially if it’s a girl.”

On facing harassment at a young age Talking about the incident in an interview with News18, Shefali Shah revealed that one day as she was returning from school, she ended up being harassed in a market, but she was unable to do anything about it. The actress was quoted as saying, “I was too young and I was just scared and no one stood up. I mean, it was crowded, but that’s not a justification but I guess almost all women have dealt with it.” Shefali Shah nominated for the  2023 Emmy Awards

Talking about the professional updates for Shah, she was recently nominated for the prestigious International Emmy Awards 2023. She is in the running for the Best Performance by an Actress for the 2022 crime drama, _Delhi Crime Season 2_. She essayed the role of DCP Vartika Chaturvedi in the second installment of the web series. Reacting to the exciting announcement, Shah revealed that she is feeling surreal and she sees the nomination as a significant acknowledgment.
