Kareena Kapoor gave Hindi cinema a new term called Size Zero during Tashan back in 2008. And her dietician for the last 18 years Rujuta Diwekar has revealed how the actress is following the same diet since 2007.

She revealed, “Dry fruits like almonds, raisins or figs as soon as she wakes up; paratha or poha for breakfast; dal and rice for lunch; cheese toast (sometimes) or mango/mango milkshake (seasonal) for evening snack; and khichdi with ghee/pulao for dinner.”

Kareena once joked, “My cook is exhausted because I make him make the same food for 10-15 days. Same dal-rice, dahi (curd)-rice. He is like, what am I cooking? But I can be really happy eating khichdi five times a week. It works. It keeps me happy with a dollop of ghee.”

On her size zero figure

The actress once said, “I am ambitious but never to the point that I would harm myself or my mental frame of mind.”

Kareena added, “For size zero also I took the time, almost a year and a half to get into that look and it was like a challenge. ‘Ek baar karna hai life mein (have to do this once in my life)’ for an action film because I have never done an action film after that also.”

Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing incident earlier this year in January shocked the industry and his family. Kareena Kapoor Khan, the actor’s wife, has finally broken silence in an interview recently.

Kareena revealed, “I am still kind of struggling with what it does to see someone there in your child’s room. In Mumbai, you never really hear about such incidents.”

She added, “It is very common in the US. In Mumbai, we have never really heard about such incidents. We have still not come to terms 100 per cent. At least I haven’t. I was very anxious for the first couple of months. It was very difficult to sleep and get back to the person with that kind of normalcy.”
