Kareena Kapoor reveals Aamir Khan felt 'apologetic' after Laal Singh Chaddha's box-office debacle

Aamir Khan is famous for giving his 100 per cent to every movie he chooses to be a part of. This dedication has even earned him the title of Mr Perfectionist in Bollywood. However, his efforts do not always yield the desired results. Aamir Khan’s last release, Laal Singh Chaddha turned out to be a box office failure. During a recent conversation with Mid-Day, the leading lady of the film, Kareena Kapoor opened up on the debacle of the ambitious project. The diva revealed that she told him through WhatsApp that according to her, they have not lost as they have made a beautiful film and their friendship and love shall not be measured by box office success. Bebo added that her character Rupa in the film will always be ‘iconic’ to her as it has a dark side to it. For those who do not know, Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan are credited with delivering blockbuster hits such as 3 Idiots and Talaash. All about Laal Singh Chadha Produced by Paramount Pictures, in association with Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Studios, Laal Singh Chadha was a Hindi remake of the 1994 American film, Forrest Gump. The Tom Hanks starrer itself was a cinematic adaptation of Winston Groom’s novel of the same name. Laal Singh Chaddha revolves around a man with a low IQ. He struggles through life with the only hope in his heart to be reunited with his childhood sweetheart, Rupa. The primary cast of the movie also includes Naga Chaitanya, Mona Singh, Rohaan Singh,  Manav Vij, Aaryaa Sharma and Arun Bali in prominent roles. Difference between Aamir and Shah Rukh Khan Kareena Kapoor also revealed the difference between working with Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. According to her, Aamir Khan just becomes that character and becomes obsessed with it, whereas SRK is made of a special cloth that nobody is made of.
