_Kantara: Chapter 1_ currently stands with the global collections of around Rs 652 crore and has crossed the lifetime business of movies like Ahaan Panday-Aneet Padda starrer Saiyaara (579.23 crore), Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju (Rs 586.85 crore) and Salman Khan’s Sultan (Rs 61.49 crore). The film will soon surpass the collections of Gadar 2 (691.08 crore) as it is set to enter the Rs 700 crore club.
Apart from fans, the movie has garnered praise from celebrities like Jr. NTR, Prabhas, Ram Gopal Varma, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Nivin Pauly, Mammootty, Yash, Anupam Kher, Madhur Bhandarkar, and cricketers like Varun Chakravarty and KL Rahul, among others.
