 "Kangana Ranaut says 'being in Ayodhya is like being in pauranic katha', compares Ram Temple to Vatican City")
22nd January will always be remembered as one of the biggest spiritual days for the entire country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the Pran Pratishtha rituals followed by the inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on Monday morning. As Hindus all over the country celebrate the unveiling of Ram Lalla’s idol (infant Lord Ram), several Bollywood celebrities and famous personalities also marked their attendance as they took part in the ceremony. Among them was Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut who also took part in the ceremony. Dressed in complete traditional attire, Kangana chose a beautiful saree including embroideries from ancient India like chikandozi and kharra gota. The actress looked like a million bucks as she attended the Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony. In a video going viral on social media, Kangana while describing her experience while being in Ayodhya said that it feels like a “pauranik katha (mythological story)”.
“Back in time, there used to be such grand palaces, big havans. God and goddesses from around the world would come together. It feels very unique and divine,” she said further praising the Uttar Pradesh government for changing the entire landscape of the state. “Ayodhya will become even more famous and bigger than Rome’s Vatican City, not just in terms of development but spirituality as well. Ram Lalla will guide the world. Devotees who will seek darshan at the Ram temple will earn a lot of virtue,” she said. Kangana Ranaut in Ayodhya The _Tejas_ actress shared a couple of her pictures posing in front of the Ram Temple along with the caption that reads, “Yehi janmbhumi hai param pujya Shri Ram ki… Jai Shri Ram”.
She also shared a video, showing her chanting slogans of ‘Jai Sree Ram’ amid a floral shower during the consecration ceremony. “Ram aa gaye,” she wrote.
Notably, Kangana is among the first few celebrities who arrived in Ayodhya. She was seen spending time in the company of saints and taking part in havans. Visibly very happy, Kangana chose a stunning white saree with an orange and red blouse for the occasion. She completed her look with a pink and red shawl. While her blouse had images of Lord Krishna, her saree was heavy on the embroidery. She completed her look with emerald jewellery. Besides Kangana Ranaut, many other prominent Bollywood actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit, Rohit Shetty, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and Rajinikanth among others were also spotted in the holy city.
