'Jolly LLB 3' Trailer Review: Akshay Kumar seems to be the villain this time, Arshad Warsi back as the hero

One of the biggest films of the year is here, as the magic of Jolly franchise returns to the big screen with Jolly LLB 3. Carrying forward a legacy that redefined courtroom drama with wit and heart Jolly LLB 3 brings both the Jollys together for the very first time – Akshay Kumar’s Jolly Mishra and Arshad Warsi’s Jolly Tyagi – in a clash that promises to be nothing short of historic.

With Judge Tripathi (Saurabh Shukla) caught in the crossfire, and Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao and Gajraj Rao adding to the drama, Jolly LLB 3 recreates the charm, humour, and intensity that made the franchise iconic. Produced by Star Studio18 and directed by Subhash Kapoor, the film to release worldwide on 19th September 2025.

In this uproarious courtroom comedy, the know-it-all Jolly Mishra and the Jugadu Jolly Tyagi find themselves back in Judge Tripathi’s court, ensuing a rollercoaster ride of razor-sharp banter, outrageous legal maneuvers, and heartfelt moments as these lawyers try to outsmart, outplay, and outtalk each other. Packed with laugh-out-loud chaos, dramatic twists, and unexpected bursts of compassion, it’s the ultimate legal showdown.

But going by the trailer, it seems Kumar is the villain this time as he’s lured by the idea of earning quick bucks. He lands at the doorstep of the scheming Gajraj Rao with Rs 50,000 per day.
