'Jolly LLB 3' Teaser Review: It's Akshay Kumar vs Arshad Warsi in this courtroom drama with Saurabh Shukla as the scapegoat

The first two films in the Jolly LLB franchise combined comedy with hard-hitting realism about issues like the hit-and-run-case and false encounters and religious identities. Both Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar brought their own nuances in their respective characters. Now what will happen if both the Jollys come together in part three?

In this laugh-out-loud glimpse, Judge Tripathi (Saurabh Shukla) finds himself once again trapped between the sharp-tongued Jolly Mishra (Akshay Kumar) and the jugadu Jolly Tyagi (Arshad Warsi). What follows is a volley of quick comebacks, witty digs, and playful courtroom chaos as the two Jollys try to outtalk each other—while Tripathi saab’s patience hangs by a thread.

Get ready for Jolly VS Jolly and Judge Tripathi’s biggest headache yet, as the film hits cinemas on 19th September 2025.

In an interview with Mashable India, Arshad Warsi spilled the beans on not coming on board in the sequel. He said, “I wasn’t all happy with the script, but I would have done it because it was Subash, and he is the director and dear friend.“

Warsi added, “I told him to take Akshay and make the film; with me, you would get a crowd of 500 people. With him, you will get a crowd of 5000 people, and I said you will be able to fulfill your dream the way it’s supposed to be done with Akshay and not me.”
