For the unfamiliar, ‘O Pochi, O Koka, O Bobi, O Lola’ was told by Anupam Kher’s character Dharamvir Malhotra in DDLJ. It was used in a scene where Kher praised SRK’s character after he failed college in London.

Jawan garnered praise

However, Anupam Kher is not the first celebrity to praise the action thriller film starring Shah Rukh Khan. After taking the box office by storm, it has garnered immense praise from audiences, critics, and industry professionals. Among the celebrities who have highly praised the film include Ananya Panday, Rajkummar Rao, Kiara Advani, Arjun Kapoor, among others.

Following its historic opening on 7 September, as Jawan continues to rule theatres, the film becomes the third in the Bollywood industry in 2023 to cross the Rs 300 crore mark in India. Helmed by Atlee, it stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Sunil Grover among others.

Work Front

Work-wise, Anupam Kher’s portrayal of Rabindranath Tagore is yet to be revealed.
