The versatile actor of Bollywood, Emraan Hashmi, who garnered the image of a ‘serial-kisser’ with her onscreen liplocks, has two money-spinning franchises under his belt — Jannat and Murder.
Apart from intriguing storylines, these franchises had great music, which is popular among the audience even today.
In a recent interaction, Emraan Hashmi shared an update on Jannat 3 and said that ‘unfortunately he don’t see happening’. “I would love to do that, probably old wine in a new bottle. The makers (Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt) have to come together again to make it happen, which I unfortunately don’t see happening. It’s a team, right? If by some stroke of luck or miracle that happens, it will happen. Till then my life goes on, I do what I love most- acting. I have a couple of projects going to be announced, solo films which are kind of that streak which audiences have loved to see me in, the bad boy. I will try to kickstart that again," he told HT.
Speaking about the comfortable space in his career, he added, “It has always been. I have never felt extremely stressed with the situation. I have always been secure, even if I probably felt that films are not faring as well at the box office. I believe this industry and profession is fair, if you are a thorough professional, you do your work well. Eventually, work will flow in. As far as I am concerned, I am in a happy space because of the kind of offers I am getting. They are more acting-oriented than unidimensional star based. I have done things which people found disastrous in my career, like doing a Shanghai between Murder 2 and Raaz 3.”
On the professional front, Emraan Hashmi was last seen in Sara Ali Khan starrer _Ae Watan Mere Watan_.
